How Can One Differentiate Between A Genuine 2 Mukhi Rudraksha And A Fake One?
by ajretail on
Introduction
A 2 Mukhi Rudraksha is a bead that has two faces, or mukhis.
It is believed to be very powerful and has many healing properties. It can be worn by both men and women, but must be worn on the right hand for men and left for women. The 2 Mukhi Rudraksha is also known as “Guru” (teacher), because it helps you connect with your inner self and find answers from within yourself.
Physical Properties
The first thing to look at is the shape and size of your Rudraksha. A genuine 2 Mukhi Rudraksha will be small, round and smooth with no cracks or lines on it. It should not have any sharp edges or corners either.
The next thing to check is its color and texture: if your Rudraksha has an uneven surface with different shades of browns and whites, then it’s probably not real! The best way to tell whether your 2 Mukhi is made up of real beads is by looking at its lines–a fake one won’t have any!
Testing for Authenticity
There are several ways to test the authenticity of your Rudraksha. We’ll look at some of the most common ones below:
- Weight: The weight of a genuine mukhi rudraksha is approximately 1.5 gm, while that of a fake one is less than 1 gm. So if you have doubts about the weight of your 2 mukhi rudraksha, weigh it on an electronic scale and compare with other authentic ones in your collection or from friends’ collections. The difference should be obvious!
- Water Test: If you have access to pure water (e.g., distilled), then put some drops on each side of your 2 mukhi rudrakshas and check whether they dissolve or not within 5 minutes; if they don’t dissolve immediately then this means there’s something wrong with them because genuine Mukhis will always dissolve in pure water quickly without any problems whatsoever!
